10:45 Building between AI vision and Excel reality: How we really break down data silos.

Everyone is talking about AI, automation and digital transformation - but what is the reality? Excel is an important part of everyday life, information is scattered and isolated solutions dominate everyday life. Specialised tools solve individual problems, but create new ones: data silos, disconnected systems, inefficient processes.

Many companies rely on the "holy grail" of a single, comprehensive software solution. However, these monoliths are often inflexible, difficult to customise and lead to long implementation times as well as high costs and acceptance problems among users.

The true competitive advantage lies not in the one perfect piece of software, but in the ability to flexibly network good solutions and adapt them to individual requirements.

IT monster projects? Inflexible software? Not necessary! Step-by-step digitalisation with no-code technology makes it possible: tried-and-tested standard software is retained, but is adapted to your processes 10 times faster - flexible, networked and future-proof. At the same time, user acceptance increases.

This presentation uses real examples to demonstrate this:

✅ Why digital tools often create new problems
✅ Why monoliths are not the answer
✅ How companies avoid IT monster projects
✅ Why standard software can only realise its full potential with flexible extensions
✅ What role no-code technology plays
✅ How user acceptance is created

Experience how intelligent networking becomes a sustainable competitive advantage and the basis of the AI version.

12:15 Doing nothing is only free at first glance - building blocks of successful innovation management for established companies

Digital transformation, ESG requirements and changing customer expectations pose major challenges for established companies. But while innovation often seems costly, it is doing nothing that comes at the highest price in the long term.

In her presentation, she explains how companies can develop innovation management in a structured and targeted manner
The focus is on key success factors:
✅ Systematic idea generation - recognizing and using trends
✅ Agile innovation management - adaptability as a competitive advantage
✅ External impetus & cooperation - collaboration with start-ups, VC and partners
✅ Scaling & implementation - from the idea to successful implementation
✅ Measurable success - managing and evaluating innovation

How can your company strategically manage innovation and transformation - instead of just reacting to it?
This presentation will help you to check whether all the essential building blocks for successful innovation management are in place in your company.

This has so far been difficult due to the proliferation of isolated solutions for individual regulations. The consequences are increased complexity and additional technical, administrative and financial burdens.

This is precisely where the osapiens HUB comes in:  A holistic ESG platform on which comprehensive solutions for the implementation of the various ESG regulations are integrated. The SaaS platform makes sensible use of modern technologies such as AI and automation and meets the increasing ESG and compliance requirements efficiently and in compliance with the law.

Certified Sustainability in the Construction Industry

Zertifizierung Bau is the accredited certification body for the construction industry. Known for certifying specialist companies, management systems, and prequalification according to VOB, the company now also offers certification based on the ZNU Standard for Sustainable Business Practices.

A corresponding certificate demonstrates that a company is seriously engaged with sustainability and is systematically developing in key action areas. The ZNU Standard is the first field-tested and, so far, the only certifiable standard for more sustainable business practices that considers all three dimensions: environment, economy, and society, alongside sustainable corporate management.

It enables companies and stakeholders to move from a defensive position—mere compliance with sustainability regulations—to an offensive one, actively experiencing and leveraging the potential of more sustainable business practices.

Meet Zertifizierung Bau at this trade fair:

    11:45 From project to product!

    From project to product!

The CREE building system was developed to meet the challenges of fast and resource-efficient construction in urban areas. It combines the materials wood and concrete in a way that optimally utilises their respective strengths. The system consists of load-bearing glulam columns, timber-concrete composite ceilings and timber-frame curtain walls. These components are industrially prefabricated and simply assembled on site, resulting in very fast construction times.

A major advantage of the CREE system is the reduction in construction time, which not only cuts costs, but also minimises the impact of noise and construction activities on the surrounding area and neighbourhood. Prefabrication of the components in a controlled environment also increases construction quality and reduces the error rate.

The CREE system also contributes to sustainability, as wood is used as a renewable raw material. The combination with concrete provides the necessary stability and guarantees the fire protection of the structures. This hybrid construction method makes it possible to utilise the advantages of both materials while minimising their disadvantages.

Another aspect is the flexibility of the system. It can be adapted for different building types and heights, which makes it particularly attractive for urban housing and office buildings. The modular design also allows the buildings to be easily adapted and extended, taking future changes and requirements into account.

Overall, the CREE building system offers an innovative solution to the challenges of modern construction by combining speed, efficiency, sustainability and quality.

12:00 Digital process chains in construction: the perfect combination for efficiency and growth

The digital transformation of the real estate and construction industry requires close cooperation between innovative technology providers and established companies. But how can digital process chains be designed efficiently if no single company can overcome the challenges alone?

In their joint presentation, Roland Riethmüller, Chairman of the Board of the Bundesverband Digitales Bauwesen e.V. (BDBau), and Timo Schroeder, CEO of the startup rehub, will show how networked collaboration between ConTechs and PropTechs is changing the future of the industry in the long term. The BDBau brings together member companies in various process steps of the digital process chain and develops best practice approaches for practical application.

Digital process chains are explained in a practical way using two specific examples - roof extensions and new build development. How can technological innovations be integrated efficiently? What role do start-ups play in the digital construction industry? And how can ConTechs and PropTechs work together to develop sustainable solutions?

Artificial intelligence - from ChatGPT to GPT-4

The breakthrough of artificial intelligence has been announced for a very long time. But now, with ChatGPT and GPT-4, the social and economic impact that even experts are not always aware of is becoming apparent. This keynote puts AI in the context of digitalization, explains the principles and industry dynamics of digital corporations and illustrates how artificial intelligence is both underestimated and overestimated. And yet it is changing the world.

  1. Presentation

13:45 Building between AI vision and Excel reality: How we really break down data silos.
