Jessica Borchardt

Jessica Borchardt is an architect and the founder of BAID, an interdisciplinary architecture studio for architecture, interior design, and design based in Hamburg. After studying architecture at TU Braunschweig and as a DAAD scholarship holder at Tsinghua University in Beijing, she worked at gmp in Hamburg before establishing her own practice in 2005, which today comprises a team of more than 20 employees. Her work spans urban design and architecture as well as interior and product design and is characterized by a holistic, sustainable approach and a close connection between architecture and contemporary art.
