Sladjana Schmidt

Sladjana Schmidt is Director Data & AI Ecosystem Lead at Nemetschek Group, where she builds and orchestrates a dynamic internal and external ecosystem to accelerate AI-driven transformation across the company. With over 17 years of international experience at the forefront of technology strategy, AI transformation, and ecosystem development, she combines deep hands-on implementation expertise with strategic leadership.

Before joining Nemetschek Group, Sladjana led partnerships and the AI ecosystem at the appliedAI Initiative, where she and her team supported nearly all DAX-listed companies across multiple sectors in navigating the complexities of AI adoption. She also held dual roles as Head of AI and Head of Digital Transformation and Innovation at Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall, where she drove the strategic AI agenda, developed impactful use cases, and shaped the company’s broader digital transformation roadmap. Throughout her career, she has helped organizations design and implement complex AI transformation programs that unlock sustainable, long-term business impact.

Passionate about diversity and responsible innovation, Sladjana is an active voice in the European AI community and regularly contributes to initiatives and forums that connect industry and research around AI. She holds a Master’s degree in International Studies in Computational Linguistics / Natural Language Processing from the University of Tübingen.
