Silvan Siegrist

Silvan Siegrist studied mechanical and chemical engineering at ETH Zurich and KTH Stockholm. He earned his doctorate with honors at the DLR Institute of Solar Research and RWTH Aachen in the field of measurement technology and energy efficiency. As a researcher he won the DLR Contest of Visions that is endowed with 180,000 Euro. To make the (real estate) world more sustainable, he co-founded Lumoview Building Analytics GmbH at the beginning of 2019 in Cologne with his colleagues Bernhard Hoffschmidt and Arne Tiddens. Together they invented a building measurement system that has become the technological basis for Lumoview. Silvan has been responsible for closing customers of 1M+ Euros and securing 2M+ Euros in fundraising. With his co-founders, Silvan is the recipient of the Horst Rauck Founder Award 2019, digitalBAU Startup Award 2020, Founder’s Award Cologne 2020, and a top 10 finalist at the PropTech Startup & Scaleup Europe Awards 2023.
