Nico Oerter

Nico Oerter has been working as a Digital Construction Engineer at Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau AG since 2022. Prior to his current position, he was a lecturer for object-oriented modeling at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen. At Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau, he oversees projects in model-based bidding processes and takes on the BIM overall coordination for the A281 Weser Crossing project. Additionally, he is heavily involved in developing competencies and foundations for the creation of BIM models for construction operations within the company. Nico Oerter studied Civil Engineering with a focus on construction operations at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen, where he also completed a Master's degree in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC).
