Mattis Hartwig

Dr. Mattis Hartwig founded the software development firm singularIT GmbH during his studies in Business Informatics. To gain international and strategic experience, he spent 4.5 years at the strategic management consultancy McKinsey, during which he dedicated 2.5 years to completing a dissertation in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Lübeck. At McKinsey, he worked across more than 10 countries on topics related to sales and analytics. Dr. Mattis Hartwig has since returned to the role of CEO at singularIT, leading a team of over 50 employees across two locations in Lübeck and Leipzig. singularIT specializes in bespoke software development in Web, Cloud, Mobile, and Data Science, with a track record of successful projects in the infrastructure and construction sectors. Dr. Mattis Hartwig remains engaged in research at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz) alongside his role at singularIT.
