Dr. David Alós Shepherd

Dr.-Ing. David Alós Shepherd holds a Ph.D. in concrete engineering and works as a Principal Concrete Value Engineer at the tech company alcemy. In this role, he supports the entire team in identifying the value levers of alcemy's technology and developing partnerships with the industry.

Alcemy's vision is to empower cement and concrete manufacturers with technology to successfully transition to a climate-neutral industry and become global pioneers in sustainability.

Previously, David Alós Shepherd worked for ten years at the Materials Testing and Research Institute Karlsruhe (MPA Karlsruhe) of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where he most recently led the 20-member department of "Building Materials and Concrete Construction Technology.
