Christian Glock

Christian Glock has been a university professor of solid construction in the Department of Civil Engineering at RPTU (Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität Kaiserslautern-Landau, formerly TU Kaiserslautern) since 2017. His research interests include structural solid construction, resource-efficient and greenhouse gas-reduced construction as well as digitalization and automation. He is a member of DIN, CEN, DAfStb, DBV and DIBt committees as well as planen-bauen 4.0 and ZIA. He is also active in consulting, committees and start-up support.
He completed his civil engineering studies from 1993-1999 at the Technical University of Darmstadt and Oulu / Finland. 1999-2017 he worked in various functions at Bilfinger Berger AG (now Bilfinger SE), as construction manager, structural engineer, project manager and later as managing director and managing director. From 2013-2017, he was a member of the management board of the Group company Bilfinger Hochbau GmbH (now Implenia Hochbau GmbH).
