Marco Thiess is a trained concrete and reinforced concrete builder and a qualified architect. After his studies, he started a trainee program at Schüco International KG. After several foreign stations (including London and Mumbai), he is a member of the Digital Board of Schüco International KG. Since 2019, Marco Thiess has additionally been Co-Founder and CEO of the open innovation platform BEYONDBRICKS, under whose banner events such as TECH IN CONSTRUCTION, TICx or the Handwerkscamp run. Since 2022, he has served as Global Head of Innovation at fischer group.
