Lisa Oberaigner
Emidat
After high school and completing a mechatronics apprenticeship in Austria, she began her studies at the Technical University of Munich. In 2018, she joined the climate movement by founding an initiative for sustainable entrepreneurship. Later, in 2020, at CDTM, she led the Climate Club and helped develop Alasco’s first ESG product to reduce construction emissions. Following her thesis on carbon pricing at MIT, she began searching for a co-founder in 2022 and connected with Florian, whose family has a century-long history in construction. Initially, they aimed to provide developers and architects with accessible environmental data. However, after over 400 interviews with industry experts, they identified a greater need: enabling manufacturers to generate this data. This discovery, alongside rising regulatory demands, led them to build Emidat.
