Emidat
After high school and a mechatronics apprenticeship in Austria, I began my studies at the Technical University of Munich. In 2018, I joined the climate movement by founding an initiative for sustainable entrepreneurship, and later, at CDTM in 2020, I led the Climate Club and helped develop Alasco’s first ESG product to cut construction emissions. Following my thesis on carbon pricing at MIT, I began searching for a co-founder in 2022 and connected with Florian, whose family has a century-long history in construction. Initially, we aimed to provide developers and architects with accessible environmental data. However, after over 400 interviews with industry experts, we identified a greater need: enabling manufacturers to generate this data. This discovery, alongside rising regulatory demands, led us to build Emidat.
