Dr. Anja Sternberg

Studied civil engineering with a specialization in structural engineering at the Technical University of Dresden. After initial construction management experience, she received a doctorate in civil engineering for solid construction at
the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH).
Dr. -Ing. Sternberg supported various large-scale projects such as engineering- and bridge construction projects in Northern Europe at companies such as Siemens AG and Bilfinger Berger AG. Also in charge was Dr. Sternberg for the Offshore Wind Technical Office and various Offshore Wind Projects.
Since 2019, Dr. Sternberg is Head of Division Northern Area and authorized representative Hamburg at Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau AG. Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau AG, founded in 1875, creates Tunnels, Bridges, Locks and Traffic routes connections for our customers -and for life.
W&F Ingenieurbau AG has been part of the Zech Group since September 2022, expanding the value chain to include the growth area of infrastructure and the new Division Civil Engineering in the Building Division.
