Dr. Markus Gabler heads the Bridge Construction Germany division at the international planning office Arup Deutschland GmbH. He studied and obtained his doctorate at the University of Stuttgart, developing new bridge systems made of fiber-reinforced composites. Markus Gabler has held senior engineering positions in Stuttgart, Vancouver and Düsseldorf, always striving to advance the state of the art and develop sustainable solutions - from pedestrian footbridges to suspension bridges.
