Michael Scharpf

Michael Scharpf is Head of Sustainable Construction at Holcim Germany, one of Germany's leading building materials manufacturers and a subsidiary of the world's leading building materials group Holcim Ltd. A bricklayer by training, he holds degrees in architecture and international business administration, has international professional experience and has worked intensively on topics related to sustainable construction and associated certifications. At Holcim Germany, Michael Scharpf advises architects, planners and builders on sustainable construction and supports the introduction of sustainable product lines, in particular CO2- and resource-optimized cement and concretes.
